During the summer Dick and Yuki Johnson spent some of Dick’s sabbatical in Japan, visiting places where they used to live and work, as well as communities on the NE coast which were badly affected by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.
They visited several church projects which support victims of the disaster, and heard first-hand the stories of people who lost loved ones, homes and livelihoods.
Wanting to share something of this story with others they have arranged to show pictures of their visit, and talk about the experience.
